1) 受賞:研究代表者は2001年6月にダブリンで開催された第10回国際ヒトレトロウィルス学会で「ATLの動物モデルと宿主免疫」について招待講演し、Arwind Diwan賞を受賞した。
2) 新聞報道:2001年4月6-7日に京都で開催したシンポジウム「ATLのウイルス病因発見から20年」に対する共同通信の取材記事で、本研究成果(ATLの動物モデルと腫瘍ワクチン効果)が取り上げられた。
