| | | | Abstract: A virtual supercomputer center (VSC) allows users to obtain high performance computing services without knowing a profile of the computer systems such as architecture types, operating systems, installed locations and network routes to access. The GridLib system has been designed to produce the VSC. We have developed two components; one is an interface that makes LAPACK and IMSL into remote executable libraries compliant with standard GridRPC protocol; the other, named Grid PSE Builder, is a software toolkit to build a portal system with a simple web interface, which invokes package programs on remote. To demonstrate the GridLib’s performance, we have deployed GridLib on several Cluster systems so that users can run libraries and package programs through the portal systems |
